Family Surf Camp at Doran Beach: August 20-23

Join us Tuesday 8/20 through Friday 8/23 as we camp on the beach for 4 days of surf, sand, fishing, play and family fun! This is a summer camp event for the whole family. We will be camping at Doran Regional Park in Sonoma County. DRP is a man-made jetty with a mellow south-facing beach on one side and Bodega Bay on the other. Bring your beach toys, kites, boogie boards, surfboards, and fishing poles for maximum fun. Once you park the car, you won't need to drive anywhere for fun and entertainment. This is an opportunity for us to gather together and soak up the coastal vibes.

All ages are welcome

$150/person to participate in the campout. Fees includes firewood for campfires, 3 nights camping fees, 3 breakfasts of homemade granola, yogurt, and fresh fruit, 2 mornings of guided stretches, 2 talks about water/ocean safety and learning how to read the coast, fishing bait and lures, and a collaborative art project.

Additionally, Surf lessons are offered by Stacey, who has been surfing in California since 2012. She almost exclusively rides longboards. She will be offering lessons with foam-top longboards. She has been a certified lifeguard since 2023. She is offering 90 min. one-to-one lessons for $100 or 2 people for $150. Surf lessons for ages 7+. Surf lessons fill up fast.
